Spicy yet grapy.Light to Medium A big, spicy buzz followed by an impressive build up of very clear, well defined malt. After a quick burst of sweetness, a rich, grape effect moves in towards the middle. Lots of oak. Very, very dry with vanilla dominating.

No other distillery may use the water from Lochan an Doire Uaine, (Gaelic for ”Loch of the green thicket”) which lies at 2,000 feet in the Drumochter Hills; neither may they enjoy Dalwhinnie’s unique combination of a clean.
