The winery Wwe. Dr. H.Thanisch - Erben Thanisch is located in Bernkastel-Kues. The winegrowing tradition of the Thanisch family can be traced back to more than 375 years. Already in 1636 the name was mentioned in the church books of Bernkastel for the first time. Today the winery is managed by Mrs. Sofia Thanisch, the eleventh generation of the Thanisch family.
