Honoro Vera Monastrell is a red wine made by Bodegas Juan Gil in the D.O. Jumilla, The Juan Gil winery is a historic winery in Jumilla, a winery that was built in 1916 by Juan Gil Giménez. The fourth generation is currently in charge of the winery. Throughout this time Juan Gil has positioned itself as an international winery, with a great projection throughout the world, It is a single varietal made from the Monastrell variety, the queen variety in Jumilla. The grapes come from vineyards planted on limestone soils, with a lot of stones. They are soils poor in nutrients from which wines with a great fruit concentration and high aromatic intensity result, Fermentation takes place for 15 days at a controlled temperature below 25ºC. Once fermentation is finished, Honoro Vera Monastrell rests in a refrigerated tank until it is bottled.
