Masciarelli Villa Gemma Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Rich and ripe dark cherry fruit, along with attractive spicy, smoky notes. Fleshy and full, with surprising depth and length.It is a mature red wine with intense aromas of black fruits, notes of dried pink flowers and touches of licorice, cocoa and tobacco. In the mouth it is concentrated, powerful and well structured. A full-bodied wine with refined tannins, an elegant mid-palate and a persistent finish with hints of spices and chocolate.

The Abruzzo region (Abruzzo in Italian) is located in the southern center of Italy and extends from the heart of the Apennines to the Adriatic Sea, through a mountainous, wild and rugged territory.
