Castorani Colline Pescaresi Cadetto Orange 750ml. Produced from 100% Pecorino, the Cadetto Orange from Podere Castorani hails from the Abruzzo region of Italy. This skin contact orange wine features delicate a floral, spicy bouquet, nice freshness and delicate tannins. Harvested by hand in September after from specifically selected grape bunches, the maceration of Pecorino grapes took place in concrete tanks for 2 weeks, the wine is aged for 3 months in oak barrels. Cadetto Orange is an excellent introduction to the orange wine category and can pair with a wide range of dishes from fried chicken to baked salmon or aged hard cheeses.

With over 200 years of history Podere Castorani spreads across 75 acres of lush countryside in the province of Pescara, Italy, between Majella National Park and the Adriatic Sea. In 1999, Formula 1 driver Jarno Trulli decided to fully commit himself to coaxing the iconic Castorani estate back to life, with the help of his friends. They worked painstakingly together, and in harmony with nature, the thirty-year-old vines grew organically. What is interesting about Podere Castorani is the way Jarno and Lucio have joined new technology and long-lasting traditions in their wine making process.
