Vines at an elevation of 20 meters are grown on granite soils in the Lima sub-region of Vinho Verde. The Atlantic Ocean surrounds the Lima area from the west, creating several microclimates in the Lima Valley. The natural conditions of this region are ideal to produce excellent white wines. Many differentiating factors contribute to the splendor of this unique region: the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and the exposure to sea winds, granite soils, mild climate and high rainfall.
