Château Faugères' vineyards are planted to 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, with an average age of 35 years. Two wines are made, Château Faugères and a second label called Haut Faugères. A small adjacent vineyard of older Merlot vines planted to greater density produces grapes for the luxury cuvée Château Péby Faugères, of which seldom more than 800 cases are produced.
